Spanish residents should disclose crypto holdings exceeding 50,000 euros (about $55,000) held on overseas platforms for tax functions beginning January subsequent 12 months, in line with an replace from Spain’s Tax Administration Company, Agencia Tributaria.

The tax company launched Type 721, a declaration type particularly designed for digital property held overseas. The shape would require authorized residents and residents to formally report their crypto property held on non-Spanish platforms for tax functions.
