MicroStrategy Buys Extra Bitcoin

Saylor’s agency acquired 2.395 BTC for a mean value of $17,7821 per BTC, per the SEC submitting. The software program heavyweight additionally purchased extra Bitcoin on December 24, 2022 with roughly $13.6 million in money. Per the submitting, MicroStrategy purchased some 810 BTC at a mean value of $16,845 per Bitcoin by its subsidiary MacroStrategy.

MicroStrategy’s complete BTC holdings grew to about 135,000 Bitcoin after the agency deployed roughly $56.4 million in complete between November 1 and December 24, 2022 per the submitting. 

Saylor’s Agency Bought BTC For The First Time

The agency reportedly bought 704 BTC for $11.8 million on December 22, 2022, in a bid to qualify for a tax profit, stated the SEC doc. Notably, the sale marked the primary time Saylor’s agency bought Bitcoin. MicroStrategy reportedly made its first BTC buy in the summertime of 2020.
