Uniswap founder Hayden Adams shared on X (previously Twitter) that the workforce behind the decentralized change eliminated an worker after what some name a rug pull.
Responding to a put up detailing how FrensTech — a memecoin driving the hype of the brand new pal.tech social platform on Base — was deployed and “successfully rugged” by developer AzFlin, Adams stated: “Needed to let individuals know this individual is not with the corporate.”
“Not conduct we help or condone,” Adams added.
In accordance with LinkedIn, AzFlin is the Twitter and GitHub title for Allen Lin, a sensible contract engineer who labored at Uniswap since July 2022. Beforehand, he was a lead engineer at NFT market Genie.
Shifting the ether to a different chain
Solely hours after deploying the FrensTech memecoin on Base, AzFlin moved 14 ether ($25,900) off of Base via the cross-chain protocol Hop. “He eliminated liquidity he added from charges and pocketed 14 ETH from charges,” UniswapVillain detailed on X, noting: “He offered the tokens he faraway from liquidity even.”

AzFlin didn’t instantly reply to a request for remark.
