Ethereum NFT-driven property Doodles introduced Thursday that it’s growing an animated movie known as “Dullsville and the Doodleverse,” that includes contributions from distinguished musicians Pharrell Williams, Dwayne “Lil Wayne” Carter, and Coi Leray.
“Dullsville and the Doodleverse” is being produced internally at Golden Wolf, the veteran animation studio that Doodles acquired in January 2023, and might be directed by Doodles co-founder and illustrator Scott “Burnt Toast” Martin.
Billed as a “groundbreaking animation and music expertise,” the movie will function music from Williams, who was named Chief Model Officer of Doodles again in June 2022.
The venture will launch a soundtrack through Doodles Data, a sub-label established with Columbia Data, and launch a trio of music movies alongside the album. Lil Wayne and Leray will each function on the soundtrack, in addition to voice characters within the movie—Lil Wayne as Captain Stoke and Leray as Deysi.

“Dullsville and the Doodleverse” will premiere on the Toronto Worldwide Movie Pageant (TIFF) in September following an related “Mission Grey” marketing campaign starting in early summer time. In a tweet thread, Doodles CEO Julian Holguin mirrored on the trail to the movie’s launch.
“Two years in the past, we have been in talks with the most important animation studios within the trade to adapt our IP into a world leisure franchise,” he wrote. “After numerous conferences, with provides on the desk, we determined to pivot.”
Holguin wrote that sustaining inventive management was paramount, and that’s why Doodles as a substitute acquired Golden Wolf and developed the venture internally as a substitute.

Doodles launched as a ten,000 NFT venture on Ethereum in 2021 and has since generated practically $650 million price of buying and selling quantity thus far, per knowledge from CryptoSlam.
