Two US Senators Pen Open Letter to DOJ and DHS Concerning Crypto Use by Child Abusers

Two US Senators are writing a bipartisan letter to federal companies in regards to the potential use of crypto belongings by little one abusers.

Based on a brand new press launch, Senator Elizabeth Warren, a Democrat from Massachusetts, and Senator Invoice Cassidy, a Republican from Louisiana, say within the letter that digital belongings are the “cost of selection” for specific supplies involving youngsters.

In 2020-2021, FinCEN revealed a report that discovered using crypto belongings to buy CSAM is on the rise and that monetary establishments are submitting hundreds of suspicious exercise reviews associated to human and little one trafficking involving Bitcoin (BTC).
